Sharing Christmas

I have no idea if many people read my blog since I'm sporadic about posting, but let's see if anyone responds...

What is your favorite Christmas carol, and why?

What is your favorite Christmas memory (funny, sentimental, touching, anything)?

**UPDATED TO ADD**

My favorite song is O Holy Night, it's been my favorite for years. One of my funnier memories is when I was about 17. My parents bought a fake tree, which was really ugly (fake trees in the 70's were terrible!). I hated the tree and missed my real tree so while they were out with friends one night, I bought a huge, fresh tree, undecorated the fake tree, put it away and redecorated the fresh tree, all before they got home. When they came home, my parents looked a little surprised but their friends thought it was great! ;)

Oh wow! My favorite Christmas carol? I suppose it would have to be O Come All Ye Faithful. I have happy memories of walking down the aisle at church with lighted candles (yes, real ones) and singing that song when I was in kids choir!

I always read your posts!
I like all Christmas music, and I think my favorite song is "Oh Holy Night".
I don't think I can come up with one memory - I have so many good ones!

Even though it's pretty hard to pick just a few because I just looooove all Christmas music, I really love the songs "Mary Did You Know?" and "Hallelujah" from Handel's Messiah. "O Holy Night" is also amazing, especially when we sing the line, "fall on your knees, o hear the angel's voices....." so powerful!

On a not-so-worshipful note, I also love "All I Want For Christmas is You." It was my song with Joel when we were dating, and the kids and I just love to dance around to that song (which seriously seems to be playing in every dept. store now!!) :)

Anyways, as for favorite Christmas memories, I have so many, I'll have to really think about that one! lol....

Love reading your blog, Jenni....keep it up! :)
